May's Inspection was a bumper night of certificates celebrating Cadets moving through our Progressive Syllabus. We also completed our latest promotion - well done to Cadet Corporal Drew on his promotion to Sergeant. Like all of our Cadet NCOs, he undertook a rigorous selection process.

The final awards were for 2 Senior Cadets who have finished their academic training syllabus and reached the Master Cadet classification.

Our progressive syllabus covers a wide variety of areas, such as Communications, Flying, Gliding, Shooting and Space. Cadets start their journey at Blue and progressively develop through to Bronze by attending events across the local area. Silver and Gold awards take a significant effort and often involve taking part in national level activities.

Our Academic Training Syllabus runs in parallel to the progressive syllabus and focuses on aviation subjects. The Cadets start their journey with an overview of a wide ranging set of subjects. They then move into a deeper level of learning on subjects such as Principles of Flight, Air Power and Jet Engines.
