Being a member of the RAF Air Cadets is hugely rewarding and a great opportunity to have fun, make new friends and challenge yourself.

So, you want to join?

Providing you're in year 8 at school then you can join us. We hold regular induction nights where we welcome new Cadets - to find out when the next one is, please Contact Us.

What happens next?

We'll invite you to an induction night, which we normally hold once every 3-4 months. This will give you an opportunity to find out more about being a Cadet from current Cadets. We'll open our doors to you and after a short presentation let you wander around the Squadron, talk to Cadets and learn more about what it means to be a Cadet. Well even let you loose on our flight simulator!

If you're still interested, then you'll be welcome to join us on Mondays and Thursdays as a Junior Cadet. This is the first step on your Air Cadet journey and will see you learn about the badges of rank, basic drill, first aid and the RAF Air Cadets.
